Cookies-strengthen your bonds

My grandmother had been hospitalized; she was feeling some difficulty in breathing as she is asthmatic. Though she has been suffering from this problem for a long time, but this time she required more care. I am very close to my grandmother; she is more than like a friend to me. We always share thoughts, things good or bad. She guides me, loves me. Yesterday when I saw her in the hospital, I felt so sad.

As a youngest child, I got more attention and care. Though affection, we all sibling shared was equally divided, but I always thought that I am having the lion's share. Whenever I asked I got all my wishes fulfilled. Now at home, I am missing the lovely company and warmth of my grandmother’s love. Since my childhood, I am a great admirer of my grandmother’s handmade cookies. The way she bakes the cookies is very different and special. She can make cookies of various flavors; she loads up the cookies with a number of healthy ingredients like butter, milk chocolate, white chocolate, fresh oats, plump raisins, walnuts, cinnamon and ginger. I used to take her freshly baked cookies to school sometimes in my lunch box and sometimes to give a crispy treat to my friends.

Though compliment I received every time was quite similar like... awesome, delicious, but the flavor used to be different sometimes. As like me, my all friends are big fans of my grandmother's handmade mouth watering cookies.
